We propose to verify if the development of mobile applications can help students in architecture in their design: if it allows them to take the specificities of ambiantal approach in their daily practice. We assume that the access to applications is a catalyst for designers, allowing them to focus on their conceptual approaches on the perception of users of the projected spaces. To test these hypotheses, we first took stock of mobile applications available. We subsequently conducted an experiment with a corpus of students to test mobile applications and ‘traditional’ tools to achieve the measurements and evaluations of light, heat, sound, humidity, ventilation and assessment of sensitive user’s experience.
