Enquêter sur la mort située. Enjeux ethnographiques de l’hyperviolence diffuse

An enrichment of Anthropology of processes of diffusion that affect experience would allow it to extend the methodology and theory of ambiances. Events that follow acts of great violence leave lasting traces on the sites they touch. In the state of tabula rasa they provoke, all forms of expression of what they themselves have caused are diminished and undermined. And yet the resultant destruction of the spatial identities only lasts a certain time. New expressive forms born within these deathly spaces come to the foreground, inducing a subtle play of esthetic, ideological and political contrasts. The description of such ongoing configurations presents a challenge for the ethnography of the senses.
